Planting Native Woodland in Ireland

Today, less than 2% of Ireland is covered by native woodland and we’re proud to partner with the Nature Trust to deliver native woodlands at scale across Ireland.

As well as having a positive impact on the environment, the creation of new woodlands will provide important animal habitats and create public spaces we can all enjoy for years to come.

Our goal is to plant 200 hectares of land in Ireland.

By the end of 2023, 53 hectares of land had been planted.

Acting today for tomorrow

Planting a tree leaves a lasting gift for generations to come.

Forests provide a multitude of benefits for the climate, nature and people and the creation of new woodlands will benefit communities for years to come by leaving an enriched resource for the next generation.

Trees, especially native species, play an important role in preserving a healthy environment. We hope our trees will provide shelter, shade and protection for a long time into our future.

Growing into the future together

Collaboration is at the core of our drive to create a better future and we’re delighted to have our people on board. Through volunteering initiatives, we’re encouraging our employees to take a proactive role in plating native forests, connecting with nature and giving back to the local community.
